Biography

Judge Christine A. Morse was elected in November 2024 to fill a newly created 6th judgeship on the 9th Circuit Court, defeating Mariko Willis 62% to 36.7%. She previously served as a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives (District 40, Kalamazoo area, 2021-2025) where she chaired the Subcommittee for Health and Human Services.
